Elizabeth (Liz)DOCKERILLof Sawston, passed peacefully away on Saturday 8th August 2026, aged 82 years.

Partner of Jim, and beloved wife of David, deceased. Dearly loved mother to Shirley and Wendy, and mother-in-law to Samad and Paul. Much loved Granny to Amy and Granny-in-law to Rhys, and treasured Great Granny to Beauden and Thea.

The funeral service to be held at St Mary's Church Sawston on Thursday 3rd September at 2:30pm, followed by committal at Sawston Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the benefit of Cambridge Cancer Help Centre and The Magog Trust and can be made via her InMemory Page at www.peasgoodandskeates.co.uk

Liz was a respected and valued member of the community. She was a founding member of the Challis Trust, and continued to be a trustee until recently. She was also a founding member and secretary of Sawston Village History Society. She leaves behind a lasting legacy and will be missed by so many.
